Lead the Convicts to Freedom. Use the arrow keys to move the convict about the screen. You can go down, up, right, left, down-left, up-right, down-right, and up-left. Avoid the guards at all cost or you will be sent back to the slammer.

The year is 2020, the prison system is at the worst it has ever been. An overpopulation in U.S. prisons has left them in squalor. There is a shortage of food and water, each cell now houses numerous inmates, the mortality rate is rising very rapidly and there is no longer a chance for rehabilitation. With the prisons in such turmoil the convicted prisoners at Shady Lake Prison have eradicated all gangs and hierarchical order. They have settled their differences amicably and have decided to work collectively in order to stage an escape. The word has gotten out to the prison staff who do not take kindly to such a protest. It is now your mission to help these convicts escape. Each convict you help liberate, represents the abolishment of an oppressive prison system for a new system that provides rehabilitation. How many convicts can you free?
